Resumo: This article aims to critically analyze the cases involving traditional peoples of the Amazon region, admitted by the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights against Brazil from 2005 to 2014, evaluating the international dispute from the profile of human rights violations presented in the cases and their relation to territorial development policies adopted for the Amazon.
