Resumo: This paper analyzes the territorial right of quilombola communities as a human right secured in the international sphere, through the Convention nº 169 of International Labor Organization; and national, through the article 68 of Transitories Constitutional Provisions Act. However, is realized a verification about the recognition of quilombola property in the federal sphere and in the Pará State, through information available by Agrarian Reform and Colonization National Institute; and Pará Land Institute.

Ademais, verifica-se a relação entre este direito humano e outros direitos essenciais constitucionalmente garantidos.
