Resumo: | The Sepsis was defined like life-threatening organic dysfunction caused by different pathogens that lead to mitochondrial dysfunction, imbalance on function of the immune and endothelial system, inability to supply oxygen to tissues, excessive apoptosis and uncontrolled release of inflammatory mediators and reactive oxygen species, however, there are high mortality rates. Its therapy is established through a consensus that briefly includes the use of lactate clearance as a marker of severity and prognosis, volume resuscitation, use of vasotive therapy, use of empirical antibiotics, identification and removal of the infectious source. It's seeing the factors and the patient's cardiovascular, and systemic instability; the anesthetist's role is try to stabilize this situation for better anesthetic management to the time of the surgical procedure. Evidentely, we'll discuss on this literature review the definitions of sepsis, the therapy and the anesthetic management of septic patients. |

Universidade Cruzeiro do SulBrasilCampus São MiguelCruzeiro do SulZanoni, Fernando Luiz220.603.058-61http://lattes.cnpq.br/3239214075166344Pereira, Fernanda Cristina Durão2021-03-15T13:45:03Z2021-03-15T13:45:03Z2020-11-23info:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersioninfo:eu-repo/semantics/bachelorThesisapplication/pdfPEREIRA, F.
