Representatividade indígena no ensino superior para a promoção da saúde e alcance dos objetivos do desenvolvimento sustentável: uma análise institucional

Crossed and penetrated by tensions and contradictions in continuous processes, the 'health' and 'education' sectors as abstract and material logics called institutions, are not isolated from the conflicts of society. Brazilian universities, regarding the access of different indigenous peoples to places in all regular courses, institutionalized themselves in an irregular and diverse way. A university in the interior of São Paulo was a pioneer, among the federal ones, in providing places for indigenous students since 2008. The institutional socioanalytic methodology configured this investigative process as participatory research in which indigenous students, professors and managers of this institution exhibited, in four groups “unspoken” focal points and semi-directive interviews of indigenous higher education that could favor self-analysis for new conformations. After Bardin's content analysis, institutional analyzers were found to verify how contemporary movements instituting 'indigenous school education' dialogue with the proposal of Health Promotion, more specifically with empowerment, and Sustainable Development Goals for 2030. By analyzing the institutional initial prophecy, present in the political premises, an adjustment or Mühmann effect occurs in a stratified way according to the needs of the organizations that involve it. However, in favor of the political and social movements of these peoples, collectively, configuring the La Passade effect is also intra-institutionally. Analyzing advances, difficulties, contradictions and cultural contributions and Health Promotion in communities and on the planet, questioning the type of education offered to indigenous peoples in Brazil. In order to favor more democratic academic practices at different institutional levels and recognition of how diversity, through interculturality, enhances Health Promotion in these spaces and on the planet, this work can favor the assessment of affirmative educational public policies and offer new perspectives to institutional processes already developed.
