Espelho, espelho-ulisses: a iniciação para o amor por meio da descoberta do Eu em face do outro, uma viagem dialógica pela perspectiva do cronotopo bakhtiniano

An apprenticeship or the book of pleasures, by the author Clarice Lispector, published in 1969, is a work that has as its central theme the love relationship between the characters Loreley and Ulisses, the latter being a character whose name is recurrent in the author's works, and she , Lori, reminds us of the mermaid of antiquity. The aforementioned work was adapted for cinema in 2020, with the official premiere scheduled for the first half of the year 2022. When we realize that there is a dialogue established between these two productions, specifically between the character Ulisses and also with the homonymous character from the Odyssey of Homer, we feel urged to do more research. Thus, our work has the purpose of presenting a comparative reading of the movie The Book of Pleasures, by Marcela Lordy (2022) with the work Uma Aprendiz ou o Livro dos Pleasures, 1969, by Clarice Lispector, pointing out the dialogic relations present in the film, not only with the adapted book, whose name is An apprenticeship or the book of pleasures, but also through the text of universal literature, Homer's Odyssey, through the dialogism bias and the concept of chronotope proposed by Bakhtin, taking into account the question of incompleteness and incompleteness of being, reflections proposed by the philosopher. Regarding the theoretical framework, we used studies by Fiorin (2011), Faraco (2019), Brait (2018), Bakhtin and the Circle (2018), regarding reflections on dialogism and chronotope. For that, we chose fragments of both the novel and the film in order to demonstrate the dialogue relations established between them, as well as, we will use the ideas related to the Bakhtinian chronotope to demonstrate how the trajectory of Ulysses is composed in his walk, his returns, dilemmas and searches, while also re-signifying themermaid Loreley, the woman who, to a large extent, through the great encounter withUlisses, composes herself, gets to know herself and in this process of self-compositionalso transforms him, complements him and together they meet to love.
