Resumo: The Public Defender’s Office was originally designed to provide full and free legal assistance to those most in need and went through several approach resignifications since the Brazil’s Constitution of 1988. The vanguard of the new institutional goals has promoted its actions on strategic areas of fundamental rights awareness for individuals and groups in social vulnerability state. In such an engaging spirit, the Public Defender’s Office of the Federal District (Brazil) implemented, on 2017, the centers specialized in human rights attendance, in order to enforce the protection of vulnerable people’s fundamental rights.
