Research trends in undergraduate teaching of the Library Science Course at UFC -2005/2010

Resumo: Research results are presented for the topics of the monographs of completion of undergraduate course in Library Science at the Federal University of Ceará, 2005/2010. The results show that the topics such as reading, information sources, role of the librarian, index representation, archives, accessibility, environmental information and bibliotherapy, were the most outstanding. However, there are few papers addressing the use of technological tools in the context of libraries, as well as papers addressing the descriptive representation of information and information services, marketing, management and memory. In relation to the comparison of specific topics with the academic teacher productions and your interest areas, it is perceived that the occurrence of the themes is still incipient, requiring it to be established policies that direction.

Los resultados muestran que los temas lectura, fuentes de información, desempeño bibliotecario, representación de índices, archivos, accesibilidad, información ambiental y biblioterapia fueron los que más se destacaron. Sin embargo, existen pocas monografías que aborden el uso de herramientas tecnológicas en el contexto de las bibliotecas, así como trabajos que contemplen la representación descriptiva de la información y los servicios de información, marketing, gestión y memoria. En cuanto a la comparación de los temas investigados con la producción académica de los profesores y sus áreas de interés, percibimos que la ocurrencia entre los temas aún es bastante incipiente, requiriendo el establecimiento de políticas que vengan en esa dirección.Apresentam-se os resultados da pesquisa sobre as temáticas das monografias de conclusão do Curso de graduação em Biblioteconomia da Universidade Federal do Ceará- 2005/2010. Os resultados evidenciam que os temas leitura, fontes de informação, atuação do bibliotecário, representação indexal, arquivos, acessibilidade, informação ambiental e biblioterapia, foram os que mais se destacaram. Entretanto, são raras as monografias abordando o uso das ferramentas tecnológicas no âmbito das bibliotecas, bem como trabalhos contemplando a representação descritiva da informação e serviços de informação, marketing, gestão e memória.
