Research trends in undergraduate teaching of the Library Science Course at UFC -2005/2010

Research results are presented for the topics of the monographs of completion of undergraduate course in Library Science at the Federal University of Ceará, 2005/2010. The results show that the topics such as reading, information sources, role of the librarian, index representation, archives, accessibility, environmental information and bibliotherapy, were the most outstanding. However, there are few papers addressing the use of technological tools in the context of libraries, as well as papers addressing the descriptive representation of information and information services, marketing, management and memory. In relation to the comparison of specific topics with the academic teacher productions and your interest areas, it is perceived that the occurrence of the themes is still incipient, requiring it to be established policies that direction.
