Resumo: | We introduce and describe the proposed configuration for the reformulation of the pedagogical project of the Library and Information Science course of the Universidade Federal de São Carlos, Brazil. The social, academic, economic and professional context of the contemporary required reconfiguration of the profile curriculum. The methodological procedures adopted for developing the process of curricular reform based on discussions realized in conjunction with teachers, students and staff technical about issues related to Librarianship and to Information Science, and, specifically, to emphases will be offered by the course, and these issues that transcend the simple curriculum rearrangement. The systematic and planning of the discussions resulted in the structure of curriculum matrix that is intended to come in 2012. |

Los procedimientos metodológicos adoptados para el desarrollo del proceso de reformulación curricular se basaron en discusiones establecidas junto con profesores, estudiantes y técnicos administrativos, sobre temas relacionados con la Bibliotecología y las Ciencias de la Información, y, específicamente, a los énfasis que ofrecerá el curso, siendo estos temas los que trascienden el simple reordenamiento curricular. La sistematización y planificación de las discusiones resultó en la estructuración de la matriz curricular que se pretende entrar en vigor en 2012.Apresenta e descreve a configuração proposta para a reformulação do projeto pedagógico do curso de Biblioteconomia e Ciência da Informação da Universidade Federal de São Carlos, Brasil. O contexto social, acadêmico, econômico e profissional da contemporaneidade exigiu reconfiguração do perfil curricular. Os procedimentos metodológicos adotados para o desenvolvimento do processo de reformulação curricular basearam-se em discussões estabelecidas em conjunto com docentes, alunos e técnico-administrativos, sobre questões relacionadas à Biblioteconomia e à Ciência da Informação, e, especificamente, às ênfases que serão oferecidas pelo curso, sendo estes temas que transcendem o simples rearranjo curricular.
