Contributions of knowledge mapping as a knowledge management strategy for university education

Resumo: Universities, guided by their role of building new knowledge, need to take ownership of Knowledge Management activities. Knowledge maps are tools that support Knowledge Management, as they act as guides to facilitate the identification and access to knowledge. The study of this tool in universities is justified, among other activities, for contributing to the teacher's challenge of selecting the elements and interrelationships to be learned by the student. Given this context, the objective of this research is to analyze how Knowledge Management, through Knowledge Mapping, can contribute to university education. Therefore, qualitative analysis of interviews is used as a methodological procedure. Highlighting the importance of knowledge management through the knowledge mapping tool for the development of innovative teaching strategies and overcoming curricular fragmentation.

Los mapas de conocimiento son herramientas de apoyo a la Gestión del Conocimiento, ya que actúan como guías para facilitar la identificación y el acceso al conocimiento. El estudio de esta herramienta en las universidades se justifica, entre otras actividades, por contribuir al desafío del docente de seleccionar los elementos e interrelaciones a aprender por parte del alumno. Ante este contexto, el objetivo de esta investigación es analizar cómo la Gestión del Conocimiento, a través del Mapeo del Conocimiento, puede contribuir a la formación universitaria. Por ello, se utiliza como procedimiento metodológico el análisis cualitativo de las entrevistas. Resaltar la importancia de la gestión del conocimiento a través de la herramienta de mapeo del conocimiento para el desarrollo de estrategias didácticas innovadoras y la superación de la fragmentación curricular.As universidades, pautadas em sua função de construção de novos conhecimentos, precisam se apropriar das atividades de Gestão do Conhecimento. Os mapas de conhecimento são ferramentas que apoiam a Gestão do Conhecimento, pois atuam como guias para facilitar a identificação e o acesso ao conhecimento. O estudo desta ferramenta nas universidades se justifica, dentre outras atividades, por contribuir com o desafio do docente de selecionar os elementos e as inter-relações a serem apreendidas pelo discente. Diante deste contexto, o objetivo desta pesquisa é analisar como a Gestão do Conhecimento, por meio do Mapeamento do Conhecimento, pode contribuir para a formação universitária. Para tanto, utiliza-se a análise qualitativa de entrevistas como procedimento metodológico.
