Resumo: ABSTRACT This study is concerned with exploring the reading habits and information consumption of Secondary and Baccalaureate students enrolled during the 2018/2019 academic year (September 2018-June 2019) in the Compulsory Secondary Education Institutes of Zaragoza (Spain). The methodology consists of a case study carried out with convenience sampling in which 94 surveys have been processed, which have been sent to students between 15 and 18 years old. The results obtained reflect that, although new technologies have imminently entered the world of education and it seems that paper and literacy have been left behind, the surveys carried out affirm that students have a preference for reading in paper format, above technological devices with screens and electronic books. Furthermore, it is reflected that students are frequent readers and consumers of a wide variety and types of information.
