Resumo: The article discusses the socio-political participation of the third sector in the socialization of information through digital inclusion projects that are based on actions that represent a technology appropriation process which ensures the individual autonomy and criticism. For individuals to cease being digitally excluded it is necessary to enable them to think, create and organize, in an emancipatory way the democratic value of information so that digital inclusion has the effect of social inclusion and promotion of citizenship.

Para que las personas dejen de ser excluidas digitalmente, es necesario capacitarlas para pensar, crear y organizar de forma emancipadora el valor democrático de la información, de manera que la inclusión digital resulte en inclusión social y rescate de la ciudadanía.O artigo discute a dimensão sócio-política da participação do terceiro setor na socialização da informação através de projetos de inclusão digital pautados em ações que representem um processo de apropriação da tecnologia que assegure ao indivíduo autonomia e capacidade crítica.
