Bourdieusian conceptual appropriations in Science teaching for deaf students

Resumo: Based on the concepts developed by Pierre Bourdieu, this article aims to promote discussions about Science Teaching for deaf students and briefly contextualize the methodological approaches that involve the education process of these individuals. To develop this article, we used a qualitative approach and bibliographic analysis. We know that Pierre Bourdieu, from a sociological perspective, developed a consistent theory that provides a rich analysis of educational issues, pointing mainly to the inequality of opportunities in the school system, since children belong in different social classes, revealing the school as a space that legitimizes social inequalities in school inequalities. The article points to the need for greater collaboration between the areas of research in science education and deaf education. Keywords: Bourdieusian concepts. Science teaching. Deaf students.

Deaf students.O artigo, a partir de conceitos elaborados por Pierre Bourdieu, tem por objetivo discutir acerca do Ensino de Ciências para alunos surdos bem como fazer uma breve contextualização das abordagens metodológicas que envolvem o processo de educação desses indivíduos. Para desenvolver este artigo pautamo-nos em uma abordagem qualitativa e na análise bibliográfica. Sabemos que Pierre Bourdieu, sob uma perspectiva sociológica, desenvolveu uma teoria consistente que propicia uma rica análise das questões educacionais, apontando principalmente para a desigualdade de oportunidades no sistema escolar em função do pertencimento a classes sociais e revelando a escola como um espaço de legitimação das desigualdades sociais em desigualdades escolares. O artigo sinaliza para a necessidade de uma maior colaboração entre as áreas de pesquisas do ensino de Ciências e da educação de surdos. Palavras-chave: Conceitos Bourdieusianos. Ensino de Ciências.
