Resumo: This article aims to find out what teachers from two public institutions, one federal and one municipal, both in Brazil, think about the evaluation process of undergraduate courses carried out by the National Institute of Educational Studies and Research Anísio Teixeira (Inep) of the Ministry of Education (MEC), through the quality indicators of on-site and distance higher education. This research is characterized as exploratory and descriptive, with a qualitative and quantitative approach. It was observed that knowing the thoughts of professors about the evaluation process of undergraduate courses brings to light elements that can be used for the idealization and implementation of strategies and policies aimed at better use of evaluations and regulation of higher education courses in Brazil.

Esta investigación se caracteriza por ser exploratoria y descriptiva, con un enfoque cualitativo y cuantitativo. Se observó que conocer el pensamiento de los profesores sobre el proceso de evaluación de los cursos de graduación trae a la luz elementos que pueden ser utilizados para la idealización e implementación de estrategias y políticas dirigidas a un mejor uso de las evaluaciones y la regulación de los cursos de educación superior en Brasil.Este artigo tem como objetivo conhecer o que pensam os professores de duas instituições públicas, uma federal e outra municipal, ambas brasileiras, acerca do processo de avaliação dos cursos de graduação realizado pelo Instituto Nacional de Estudos e Pesquisas Educacionais Anísio Teixeira (Inep) do Ministério da Educação (MEC), por meio dos indicadores de qualidade do ensino superior presencial e a distância. A presente pesquisa caracteriza-se como exploratória e descritiva, com abordagem qualitativa e quantitativa.
