Resumo: | Peanut genotypes from different growth habit were studied as to flowering and reproduction traits, aiming to select the most promising ones regarding earliness and reproductive efficiency in order to utilize them in further breeding programs of this crop. This study was carried out during the period of May to August 1994, at the CNPA headquarter, in Campina Grande, PB, Brazil. The genotypes were sown in 5 m rows, at 0.70 m x 0.20 m spacing, with ten plants per linear meter. Randomized blocks with 20 treatments and five replications were utilized. The following traits were studied: blooming, flowering duration, effective flowering, flower/plant, pegs/plant, and pods/plant sets, harvest index and reproductive efficiency. 'CNPA 5 AM' and 'BR-1', both erect, and 'CNPA 28 AM' and 'CNPA 41 AM', decumbents, showed the best results to the earliness and reproductive efficiency. 'CNPA 52 AM', spreading, showed high production in pegs and pod sets. It could be utilized in further breeding programs. |

Pesquisa Agropecuaria BrasileiraPesquisa Agropecuária BrasileiraSantos, Roseane Cavalcanti dosMoraes, Joselito de SousaGuimarães, Maria Betânia1997-12-01info:eu-repo/semantics/articleinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersionapplication/pdfhttps://seer.sct.embrapa.br/index.php/pab/article/view/4783Pesquisa Agropecuaria Brasileira; v.32, n.12, dez. 1997; 1257-1262Pesquisa Agropecuária Brasileira; v.32, n.12, dez. 1997; 1257-12621678-39210100-104xreponame:Pesquisa Agropecuária Brasileira (Online)instname:Empresa Brasileira de Pesquisa Agropecuária (Embrapa)instacron:EMBRAPAporhttps://seer.sct.embrapa.br/index.php/pab/article/view/4783/7252info:eu-repo/semantics/openAccess2015-04-27T17:04:50Zoai:ojs.seer.sct.embrapa.br:article/4783Revistahttp://seer.sct.embrapa.br/index.php/pabPRIhttps://old.scielo.br/oai/scielo-oai.phppab@sct.embrapa.br || sct.pab@embrapa.br1678-39210100-204Xopendoar:2015-04-27T17:04:50Pesquisa Agropecuária Brasileira (Online) - Empresa Brasileira de Pesquisa Agropecuária (Embrapa)false |
