Resumo: | Guandu supplementation to sugar-cane as substrate for cultivation of Pleurotus sp. 'Florida' was done to evaluate the speed of mycelium growth in darkness and in continuous light, and to evaluate the average mycelium growth time, production, productivity and biological efficiency under continuous light. The minimum and maximum temperatures registered were 22°C and 26°C. The air humidity was 73%. The substrates consisted of sugar-cane supplemented with guandu at 5%, 10% and 15%. The control treatment was sugar-cane with no supplementation. The speed of mycelium growth was stimulated by light. The guandu supplementation did not influence the speed of mycelium growth in light. In darkness, the greater speed of mycelium growth was observed at 5% of supplementation and in the control treatment. The average mycelium growth time was shorter with 5% of guandu (6.18 days), while the production (165.94 g fresh mushroom/kg fresh substrate) and biological efficiency (94.73%) were higher with 15% of guandu. The productivity was similar among treatments (5.58% to 6.82%). |
