Effect of gibberelic acid on the growth of post-acclimatized plants of apple rootstocks cultivar Murabakaido

Resumo:   The present study was developed to assess the efficiency of the use of the GA 3 in plants postacclimatized of ‘Marubakaido’ rootstocks, to avoid the possible dormancy in this development phase. Plants rooted in vitro and recently acclimatized were transferred to plastic vases with 1L of growth medium of purple soil and carbonized peel of rice (1:1- v:v). The treatments consisted of three pulverizations of the GA3 with 12 days interval,in concentrations of zero, 100, 200 and 300mg/L. Thirty-six days after treatments the following variables were record: height of the plant, diameter of the stem and distance of the buds. The use of GA3 post-acclimatization stimulated the growth of ‘Marubakaido’ plants with the increase of the dose and inhibited the dormancy of plants.

O presente trabalho foi desenvolvido com o objetivo de verificar a eficiência do ácido giberélico (GA3) em plantas pós-climatizadas de porta-enxerto de macieira ‘Marubakaido’, visando evitar a entrada emdormência das gemas. Foram utilizadas plantas enraizadas in vitro e recém-aclimatizadas. Foram realizadas três pulverizações do ácido giberélico, com intervalos de 12 dias, nas concentrações de zero (testemunha), 100, 200 e 300mg/L. Aos 36 dias avaliaram-se altura da planta, diâmetro do caule e distância dos entrenós. O ácidogiberélico evitou a dormência e estimulou o crescimento das plantas, proporcionalmente ao aumento da dose.
