Resumo: | It was evaluated the sanity of 139 samples of bean seeds used in Santa Catarina State, from 1993 to2003 by the blotter test method. Seeds were incubated during seven days at 25 oC, under a 12 hours light regime. It was noted that the incidence of Colletotrichum lindemuthianum was above the tolerance index for Brazilian fiscalized seeds from 1999 to 2001. Phaeoisariopsis griseola was observed in low frequency and incidence in thesamples. High incidence of soil-born pathogens and the prevalence of Aspergillus spp., Penicillium spp.,Chaetomium spp. and Cladosporium spp. in all samples indicate the needs for better seed production and better storage conditions. |
