Resumo: | The objective is to evaluate the association ofnon-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) in post-menopaused women. Cross-sectional clinical study, approved by the Ethics Committee (protocol 010513R) and realized from October 2019 to January 2021, in a reference center for ultrasonography in Aracaju-SE. The anthropometric evaluation was obtained by measuring weight, height used for calculating Body Mass Index (BMI) and waist circumference. From 638 patients, 36 were excluded by exclusion criteria, totalizing one final sample of 602. The presence of non-alcoholic fatty liver disease was found in 154 patients (25.6%), being 77 (50%) of grade 1; 69 (44.8%), grade 2 and 8 (5.2%), grade 3. The BMI average was 25,8 (±5.8) kg/m2, with variation from 13.6 to 48.5 kg/m2. The waist circumference average was 25.8 (±5.8), with variation from20.1 to 136. There was a statistically significant association between NAFLD and post-menopause women in the studied population. The age related to this period proved to be an important factor for the greater severity of NAFLD diagnosed by USG. Anthropometric data (BMI and WC) showed a significant relation with the degrees of NAFLD in post-menopaused women. |

Anthropometric data (BMI and WC) showed a significant relation with the degrees of NAFLD in post-menopaused women.O objetivo é avaliar a associação da DHGNA nas mulheres na pós-menopausa. Sustenere Publishing2021-06-22info:eu-repo/semantics/articleinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersionapplication/pdfhttps://sustenere.inf.br/index.php/sciresalutis/article/view/586710.6008/CBPC2236-9600.2021.003.0015Scire Salutis; Vol. 11 No. 3 (2021): Scire Salutis - Jun, Jul, Ago, Set 2021; 118-125Scire Salutis; Vol. 11 Núm. 3 (2021): Scire Salutis - Jun, Jul, Ago, Set 2021; 118-125Scire Salutis; v. 11 n. 3 (2021): Scire Salutis - Jun, Jul, Ago, Set 2021; 118-1252236-9600reponame:Scire Salutisinstname:Companhia Brasileira de Produção Científica (CBPC)instacron:ESSporhttps://sustenere.inf.br/index.php/sciresalutis/article/view/5867/3056Copyright (c) 2021 Scire Salutishttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0info:eu-repo/semantics/openAccessFontes, Ana Amélia BarretoNoronha, Victor Fernando Costa MacedoGomes, Raphaella Maria Oliveira PereiraLima, Jandson da SilvaLima, Sônia OliveiraCruz, Josilda Ferreira2023-01-04T20:16:52Zoai:ojs.pkp.sfu.ca:article/5867Revistahttps://sustenere.co/index.php/sciresalutisONGhttps://sustenere.co/index.php/sciresalutis/oai||carlos@arvore.org.br2236-96002236-9600opendoar:2023-01-04T20:16:52Scire Salutis - Companhia Brasileira de Produção Científica (CBPC)false |
