Resumo: | Work safety is important in all activities, as the lack of actions to prevent and reduce accidents causes losses for the remote worker and for the company's production. In furniture and joinery factories where there is mechanical processing with different types of machines and wood diversity, the reality is no different. The high levels of sound pressure emitted by the machines is related to diseases of noise-induced hearing loss (NIHL). Thus, the aim of this work was to carry out a survey of the levels of continuous/intermittent noise of furniture factories in Brazil. The work was carried out by searching the literature using systematic methodology, selection and extraction of relevant information. All noise level and dose values in the researched studies were above what was allowed by law. Thus, being able to characterize the studied environments as unhealthy to noise and with imminent risk to workers' health. Thus, to prevent diseases, such as NIHL, it is necessary to use preventive measures in the workplace and the use of hearing protectors. |

Sustenere Publishing2020-07-09info:eu-repo/semantics/articleinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersionapplication/pdfhttps://sustenere.inf.br/index.php/sciresalutis/article/view/CBPC2236-9600.2020.003.001410.6008/CBPC2236-9600.2020.003.0014Scire Salutis; Vol. 10 No. 3 (2020): Scire Salutis - Jun, Jul, Ago, Set 2020; 113-123Scire Salutis; Vol. 10 Núm. 3 (2020): Scire Salutis - Jun, Jul, Ago, Set 2020; 113-123Scire Salutis; v. 10 n. 3 (2020): Scire Salutis - Jun, Jul, Ago, Set 2020; 113-1232236-9600reponame:Scire Salutisinstname:Companhia Brasileira de Produção Científica (CBPC)instacron:ESSporhttps://sustenere.inf.br/index.php/sciresalutis/article/view/CBPC2236-9600.2020.003.0014/2173Copyright (c) 2020 Scire Salutisinfo:eu-repo/semantics/openAccessMoraes, Ana Clara MoreiraBatista, Marcelo LinonOliveira, Mônica BezerraSilva, José Reinaldo MoreiraPires, Marina RatesCarvalho, Nayara Tamires da SilvaPereira, Tamires Galvão TavaresFaria, Douglas Lamounier2020-09-21T19:25:18Zoai:ojs.pkp.sfu.ca:article/4110Revistahttps://sustenere.co/index.php/sciresalutisONGhttps://sustenere.co/index.php/sciresalutis/oai||carlos@arvore.org.br2236-96002236-9600opendoar:2020-09-21T19:25:18Scire Salutis - Companhia Brasileira de Produção Científica (CBPC)false |
