Resumo: The research aims to realize an analysis of the study environment of students of a postgraduate course, distance education, considering ergonomic criteria, in addition to the identification of the occurrence of musculoskeletal pain or discomfort in them. For this purpose, the perception of graduate students regarding ergonomics aspects in their respective study sites was analyzed from the application of an online semi-structured questionnaire composed of 14 questions that addressed issues related to the aspects: (i) social; (ii) study routine; (iii) organizational and quality of the study environment; (iv) environmental; and (v) aspects related to the frequency of pain or physical discomfort. The latter was verified through an adaptation of the Diagram of Corlett and Manenica. The results show that the studied aspects, including the characteristics of the environment, become of great importance for the creation of an adequate place for the development of activities in the Virtual Learning Environment. In addition, the frequency of musculoskeletal pain or discomfort reported was mainly related to the neck (66.25%), wrists/hands and fingers (50%) and lumbar (47.5%) regions. Thus, ergonomic analysis is of fundamental importance for the consolidation of a diagnosis and subsequent formulation of suggestions aimed at obtaining an ergonomically correct learning environment.
