Resumo: This study aims to evaluate the eating and behavioral habits of the population of Parauapebas (PA) during social isolation as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. The methodology used was a quali-quantitative cross-sectional study. An online form was applied, consisting of open and closed questions, in which 472 valid responses were obtained from participants of both sexes, 26.27% (n=124) male and 73.72% (n=348) female, aged between 18 and 60 years. The forms contained questions about age, gender, race, education, height, body weight before and after isolation, neighborhood where they live, emotional state, eating and behavioral habits. The survey results indicated that the pandemic contributed to changes in habits and behaviors associated with emotional factors such as stress and anxiety. Most frequently reported by the research subjects that culminated in dietary changes in the participants' lives. Based on the results of this study, it is suggested that the isolation resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic may have a direct relationship with changes in eating habits with emotional factors, enhancing this entire context.

Sustenere Publishing2021-09-28info:eu-repo/semantics/articleinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersionapplication/pdfhttps://sustenere.inf.br/index.php/sciresalutis/article/view/635810.6008/CBPC2236-9600.2022.001.0037Scire Salutis; Vol. 12 No. 1 (2022): Scire Salutis - Out, Nov, Dez 2021, Jan 2022; 337-350Scire Salutis; Vol. 12 Núm. 1 (2022): Scire Salutis - Out, Nov, Dez 2021, Jan 2022; 337-350Scire Salutis; v. 12 n. 1 (2022): Scire Salutis - Out, Nov, Dez 2021, Jan 2022; 337-3502236-9600reponame:Scire Salutisinstname:Companhia Brasileira de Produção Científica (CBPC)instacron:ESSporenghttps://sustenere.inf.br/index.php/sciresalutis/article/view/6358/3524https://sustenere.inf.br/index.php/sciresalutis/article/view/6358/3525Copyright (c) 2022 Scire Salutishttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0info:eu-repo/semantics/openAccessSousa, Vanessa Christielle Silva de Froz, Elisangela Oliveira Silva Silva, Kaelem Assis Rocha Cunha, Stefane Carvalho da Gatti, Victória Carolline do Moraes Silva, Priscilla AndradeOliveira, Mariana Leal2023-01-04T20:16:22Zoai:ojs.pkp.sfu.ca:article/6358Revistahttps://sustenere.co/index.php/sciresalutisONGhttps://sustenere.co/index.php/sciresalutis/oai||carlos@arvore.org.br2236-96002236-9600opendoar:2023-01-04T20:16:22Scire Salutis - Companhia Brasileira de Produção Científica (CBPC)false
