Resumo: The present paper has the religiosity of the African Diaspora and the State-Nation in Haitian context as main theme. It discusses and shows how the voodoo religiosity can build a metaphoric and metonymic relationship with the Nation, that is, a kind of constitutive and dynamic alterity.
