Resumo: This paper presents the experience of a workshop on racial identity reconstruction which turns into an experience of a group of 190 black students from Porto Alegre. The real experience of an episode of racial discrimination which the group passes through in the workshop brings the necessity of reconstruction of the black identity, as well as the concepts of racial discrimination, racism, racial belonging, the relation between black identity and conscientiousness. It brings the need of enlarging the conscientiousness of belonging.
