Resumo: This article investigates the human being under a conceptual point of view, built from philosophical, anthropological and theological perspectives. The research does not intent to exhaust any of these three instances, only to discuss such perceptions based in Battista Mondin's thought. The human being subsists in the most varied contexts and forms, leaving to the human sciences the task of reading and understanding this archaeological being. For this purpose, this research is based on the following references: Eliade, Mondin, Rampazzo and Berger.

O ser humano, subsiste nos mais variados contextos e formas, restando às ciências humanas a gentil tarefa de perscrutá-lo e tentar entender melhor esse ser arqueológico.
