Resumo: The objective of the present study is to investigate the actions developed in the project Sonorous Rails with children in permanent state of social vulnerability in the ghetto in the city of Canoas in Rio Grande do Sul. Considering the methodology of the program, which includes biblical reading, reflection, fellowship, rehearsals and program recitals, as well as the guiding principle of the project which is to serve God and the neighbor through music and, also, aggregating diverse institutions around the material and spiritual well-being of the families involved, this study seeks, objectively, to analyze if this project developed in the ghetto, besides social action, also constitutes a theological locus were there are signs of revelatory experiences and space where evidences of search for the Sacred and experience with the Unconditional are perceived, configuring a new model of church for the ghetto.
