Resumo: This paper deals with veterinary macroscopic anatomy as an educational tool in elementary and high school in Brazil and the way it is taught in Brazilian public schools. The main objective is to know the development of macroscopic teaching in basic education, in order to demonstrate the relevance of knowing the anatomy of animals in practice. It is known that the teaching of both human and animal anatomy is linked to the teaching of the biological sciences, however, we realize that the teaching / learning of these students have been insufficient, as they present practical classes associated with the lack of interest of macroscopic anatomy, and there is also a certain indifference on the part of teachers and the institution itself to provide resources that lead teachers to bring knowledge from theory to practice. This study is evidenced by the qualitative character, removing from the objective of the research the answer to the above problematizing question.

El objetivo principal es conocer el desarrollo de la enseñanza macroscópica en la educación básica, con el fin de demostrar la relevancia de conocer la anatomía de los animales en la práctica. Se sabe que la enseñanza de la anatomía tanto humana como animal está ligada a la enseñanza de las ciencias biológicas, sin embargo, nos damos cuenta de que la enseñanza / aprendizaje de estos estudiantes ha sido insuficiente, ya que presentan clases prácticas asociadas al desinterés de los estudiantes. anatomía macroscópica, y también hay cierta indiferencia por parte de los docentes y de la propia institución por brindar recursos que lleven a los docentes a llevar los conocimientos de la teoría a la práctica. Este estudio se evidencia por el carácter cualitativo, quitando del objetivo de la investigación la respuesta a la pregunta problematizadora anterior.Este artigo trata da anatomia macroscópica veterinária como ferramenta educacional no ensino fundamental e médio no Brasil e a forma como é ensinada nas escolas públicas brasileiras. O objetivo principal é conhecer o desenvolvimento do ensino macroscópico na educação básica, a fim de demonstrar a relevância de se conhecer a anatomia dos animais na prática. Sabe-se que o ensino de anatomia humana e animal está vinculado ao ensino das ciências biológicas, porém, percebemos que o ensino / aprendizagem desses alunos tem sido insuficiente, pois apresentam aulas práticas associadas ao desinteresse de. anatomia macroscópica, havendo também uma certa indiferença por parte dos professores e da própria instituição em fornecer recursos que levem os professores a trazer o conhecimento da teoria para a prática.
