Resumo: | This research aimed to propose a model for self-assessment of economic sustainability as a managerial instrument to support the decision at a small company in the automotive services sector in the Iguassu Falls city. The need to improve management analyzes to dialogue with sustainable development, makes companies look for new forms of management to be competitive. The company studied presents sustainability as a strategic pillar; however, it does not use any managerial means capable of evaluating its performance under the bias of sustainability. The methodology for preparing and proposing the assessment model was based on a multicriteria constructivist analysis (MCDA-C) associating the triple bottom line approach (Elkington, 1999) and economic indicator of the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI, 2018). For the application and analysis, interviews and a questionnaire were applied to the players. The results in relation to the construction and application of the proposed model proved to be effective and possible to become an adequate means for assessing economic sustainability by providing data the support management decisions. As a result, the company presented an economic performance with great potential to become more sustainable, obtaining important insights that can generate actions to the strategic business planning in search of continuous improvements in order to adapt and constantly improve its operations in favor sustainable development. |

A necessidade de aprimorar as análises gerenciais de modo a dialogar com o desenvolvimento sustentável, faz-se necessário novas formas de gestão para as empresas serem mais competitivas. A empresa pesquisada tem a sustentabilidade como um pilar estratégico, mas não se utiliza um modelo de autoavaliação capaz de avaliar seu desempenho nesta seara. A metodologia utilizada foi a análise multicritério construtivista (MCDA-C) associando a abordagem do triple bottom line (Elkington, 1999) e indicadores econômicos do Global Reporting Initiative (GRI, 2018). Para a aplicação e análises, realizou-se entrevistas e aplicação de questionário junto aos atores participantes do processo. Os resultados em relação à construção e aplicação do modelo proposto se mostraram eficazes e possíveis de se tornar um meio adequado para avaliação da sustentabilidade econômica fornecendo dados que apoiam as decisões gerenciais.
