Resumo: | This paper proposes a dialogue of the contemporary issue of transexuality in schools, based on some concepts of the philosopher Michel Foucault, in order to reflect on the issue through the device of sexuality, of one of its shifts, i.e., the device of transexuality, as well as on the biopolitical agency of the school which aims to control and regulate the trans/trav bodies and subjectivities. The research also discusses the use of social names by transvestites and transexuals in schools; seen, on one hand, as an achievement by social and identity movements and, on the other hand, as a biopolitical strategy of the government to control the bodies and the processes of subjectivity of such individuals. Finally, it presents a challenge in relation to the possibilities to escape the biopolitical agency from the school. |

Problematiza la utilización del nombre social por travestis y transexuales en las escuelas, por un lado vista como una conquista y, por otro, como una estrategia biopolítica de gobierno y control de los cuerpos y subjetividades de esos(as) personajes. Presenta asimismo una provocación en lo que se refiere a las posibilidades de escape de los agenciamientos biopolíticos de la escuela.Este texto se propõe a dialogar com alguns conceitos de Michel Foucault para pensar a transexualidade na escola por meio da invenção do dispositivo da sexualidade, de um de seus deslocamentos – o dispositivo da transexualidade –, bem como a refletir sobre os agenciamentos biopolíticos da instituição escolar com vistas ao controle e ao governamento dos corpos e subjetividades trav e trans. Problematiza a utilização do nome social por travestis e transexuais nas escolas, por um lado vista como uma conquista e, por outro, como uma estratégia biopolítica de governo e controle dos corpos e subjetividades dessas/es personagens.
