Resumo: The article discusses the path of the five women scientists who received the Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine, between 1947 and 1988, regarded as pioneers in this area in the course of this award created in 1901. In a perspective marked by advances in feminist criticism of science, in the fields of gender and science and the history of science, this article summarizes various aspects linked to the origins and education of these women, focusing on gender interference in the construction of their careers. The discussion aims to contribute to the debate about feminization. Several sources have been consulted, including the award site with their autobiographies as well as their speeches and lectures during the award ceremonies.

Desde una perspectiva marcada por los avances de la crítica feminista a la ciencia, de los campos de género y ciencias y de la historia de las ciencias, el artículo sintetiza vários aspectos vinculados a los orígenes y formación de dichas mujeres, resaltando las interferencias de género en la construcción de sus carreras. La discusión pretende contribuir para el debate sobre la categoría de feminización. Fueron consultadas varias fuentes, entre ellas la página web del premio, donde es posible encontrar sus autobiografías, así como los discursos y charlas que pronunciaron durante las solemnidades de premiación.  Cet article examine les trajectoires des cinq scientifiques pionnières qui ont reçu le prix Nobel de Physiologie et de Médecine, créé en 1901, entre 1947 et 1988. Dans une perspective axée sur les acquis de la critique féministe de la science, des domaines genre et sciences et histoire des sciences, l’article synthétise différents aspects liés aux origines et à la formation de ces femmes, tout en soulignant les interferences de genre dans la construction de leurs carrières. La discussion vise contribuer au débat concernant la catégorie féminisation. Plusieurs sources ont été consultées, dont le site internet du prix où l’on peut trouver leurs autobiographies ainsi que les discours et les conférences qu’elles ont proférés durant les solennités de la remise des prix.  O artigo reflete sobre as trajetórias das cinco cientistas que receberam o Nobel na Fisiologia ou Medicina entre 1947 e 1988, abordadas como as pioneiras dessa área no curso desta premiação criada em 1901. Numa perspectiva balizada pelos avanços da crítica feminista à ciência, dos campos de gênero e ciências e da história das ciências, o artigo sintetiza vários aspectos ligados às origens e formação dessas mulheres, ressaltando as interferências de gênero na construção das suas carreiras. A discussão visa a contribuir para o debate sobre a categoria feminização.
