Critical approach to the action of contemporary capitalism, in the face of the dictates of neoliberalism, to unveil the apologetic discourse of the so-called information society in the course of the 21st century. Under the destructive logic of the capital-state binomial and the misleading discourse of the "globalized" world economy, information and digital inclusion are focused, based on the idolatry that individuals nourish through ICT. Such fetishism stems from the fallacious possibilities of social inclusion, notably in peripheral countries, of late capitalism, as is the case of Brazil. Finally, it warns about the risks of living exclusively in the light of the technological imperative, under the mistaken promise of having more developed, free people, organizations and countries.
