Resumo: Supported by the theoretical contributions of Information Science and the field of study of Communication, we try to understand how the process of representation of news information has been carried out by the agencies of "fact-checking" in Brazil. To do so, we apply the content analysis and identify, from the two main agencies of the country, the Lupa and the Public, that the process occurs in three stages: recovery of the digital trace, checking of the facts by sources and descriptive representation. We perceive that the effects of this process are manifested as a sign of confronting the paradox emerging from the information age, marked by access to information and excessive disinformation, and that unfolds in a informational/disinformational "hyperflow", but also, in the communication "hypoflow".

Para tanto, aplicamos a análise de conteúdo e identificamos, a partir das duas principais agências do país, a Lupa e a Pública, que o processo ocorre em três etapas: recuperação do rastro digital, checagem dos fatos por fontes e representação temática.
