Resumo: This article shows the results of a comparative analysis of the six first versions of the poem Martim Cererê, which was published for the first time in 1927 by Cassiano Ricardo. This analysis reveals the changes made by the author and how they did not just derive from esthetical or grammatical revisions, but also present nuances from political tensions that pervaded the intellectual scene in which Cassiano Ricardo acted.

A partir de ese análisis, fue posible demonstrar las alteraciones realizadas por el autor, y como esas modificaciones no derivan solamente de revisiones estéticas o gramaticales, sino que presentan matices de las tensiones políticas que permeaban el campo intelectual en que Cassiano Ricardo trabajaba.No presente artigo apresentaremos os resultados de uma análise comparativa entre as seis primeiras versões do poema Martim Cererê, publicado pela primeira vez em 1927 por Cassiano Ricardo.
