Resumo: The article examines the relation between the forms of sociability in Brazilian contemporary metropolis and their possibilities of literary representation. The short story Intestino grosso by Rubem Fonseca, published in 1975, is taken as a point of departure to the study of Sex by André Sant'Anna, published in 1999. The label of minor literature Kafkastyle in Deleuze/Guattari's view is seen as a post-modern strategy to express today's wild sociability, detected, for instance, in São Paulo presented by André Sant'Anna's novel.
