Resumo: This study explores possible new drivers that may be integrated into the decision-makingmodels for establishing the location of subsidiaries. More precisely, it seeks to answer the followingresearch question: "Does the degree of responsiveness in the supply chain influence decisions regardingthe location of multinational subsidiaries?" Based on the theoretical approaches of the UppsalaSchool, the Eclectic Paradigm and RBV, this research analyzes the case of a large multinational in theagribusiness sector, aiming to explore the recent decision-drivers for the location of new subsidiariesand the influence of the current competitive market in this context.DOI: 10.12660/joscmv6n1p26-41URL: http://dx.doi.org/10.12660/joscmv6n1p26-41
