Resumo: The environment is mentioned in many discourses, whether social, political, economic, institutional or academic. The main focus of this paper is to apprehend the several types of environmental discourses and their ulterior meaning, showing how the environment is present in organizational theory (OT) and in the everyday discourses and practices of Brazilian organizations.
