Resumo: This research talks about the curriculum of the “Escola Superior de Administração e Negócios” (ESAN) since its creation in 1941 by the Jesuit Roberto Medeiros Savoy until its official recognition as a higher education institution by the government in 1961. When contextualize it to the context political and economic development of São Paulo society of the time, the structuring of subjects at school was also analyzed according to the main characteristics of education in administration in Brazil, as recent work on the subject. This research shows that despite the school of Father. Savoie be before the institution of the main references of business education in the country and abroad, ESAN established in its features to import American administrative knowledge and rationalization as a condition for the country's modernity in the Estado Novo and therefore end of the Second World War and early Cold War. Therefore, it was used as a research method the historical narrative, the principles and designs were previously exclusive to the field of history and, therefore, contribute to the historical perspective in organizational studies. Thus, the narrative analyzes the curricular activities of ESAN the light of the social contexts and the history of depicting administration to the period studied to be reiterated that the curriculum of an educational institution is a historic building, permeated by a discourse of power and influence directly and indirectly, from the context that surrounds it. Finally, this work had not intended to limit an analysis of the curriculum in management in Brazil, but especially to support studies on education in the early days of the country's area, which currently has a growing dedication.

Finally, this work had not intended to limit an analysis of the curriculum in management in Brazil, but especially to support studies on education in the early days of the country's area, which currently has a growing dedication.
