Epistemological bases of networked knowledge: adequate approach to Innovation in Biodiversity Medicines

Resumo: The present study, a literature review, aimed to describe the evolution of knowledge conceptions in the last two centuries, with a view to identifying the assumptions that support the networked conception of knowledge. Networked knowledge is conceptualized as that resulting from the process of interaction between actors who share meanings and purposes, with a view to promoting collectively constructed actions based on localized situations. It is understood that networked knowledge is the most appropriate conception for innovation in biodiversity medicines. Based on the epistemological crises that permeated the 20th and 21st centuries, authors were selected, mainly from Sociology and Philosophy, who explained the epistemological transformations of these moments.

Conceitua-se conhecimento em rede como aquele resultante do processo de interação entre atores que compartilham significados e propósitos, com vistas a promover ações construídas coletivamente e pautadas em situações localizadas. Entende-se que conhecimento em rede é a concepção mais adequada para a inovação em medicamentos da biodiversidade.
