Resumo: National School Feeding Program (NSFP) is the most lasting program in the field of education in Brazil its main objective is to promote school meals in a healthy way, with respect to regional culture and eating habits, while also encouraging family farming. This bibliographical review article was developed from materials already elaborated, consisting mainly of books and scientific articles. The research is characterized as exploratory, since it aims to provide greater familiarity with a theme in order to make it more explicit and in-depth. The objective of this study was to understand the concept of family farming, as well as the process that placed agriculture at the current levels, and the aspects that involve healthy eating in schools, the PNAE, which is currently an important strategy for Food and Nutrition Security (SAN), by promoting the Human Right to Adequate Food (DHAA) through school feeding.

Este artigo de revisão bibliográfica foi desenvolvido a partir de materiais já elaborados, constituídos principalmente por livros e artigos científicos. A pesquisa caracteriza-se como exploratória, uma vez que visa proporcionar maior familiaridade com um tema de modo a torná-lo mais explícito e aprofundado.
