Resumo: The operation of images, words and sounds in communications is part of the problem of impotence and expropriation of the human creative forces we must face because of climate changes. Emphasizing the perception that images, words and sounds are only descriptions and representations of a outside world, the media are implicated in the severity of environmental change and violent logical crossing the relationships between humans and the Earth, between things and beings in the world.To interfere in this context from another communication politics, the Science Communication and Climate Change Sub-net – part of the brazilian Rede CLIMA –, researches interactive experiments that aim to exploit the power of climate change communication as a vital issue. Thinking how images, words and sounds can give the human the most intense power to exist through new forms of speaking, writing and thinking.

Al reforzar la percepción de que las imágenes, palabras y sonidos son sólo descripciones y representaciones de un mundo que está fuera de ellos, los medios de comunicación están implicados en la gravedad de los cambios ambientales y las lógicas que cruzan violentamente las relaciones entre los seres humanos y la Tierra, las relaciones entre las cosas y los seres del mundo. Para intervenir en este contexto desde una otra política de comunicación, la subred Comunicación y Cambio Climático, de la Rede CLIMA, investiga experimentos interactivos que buscan explotar el potencial de la comunicación en presencia del cambio climático como un tema vital. Se piensa como imágenes, palabras y sonidos pueden dar al humano lo másintenso poderde existir a través de nuevas formas de hablar, escribir y pensar.O funcionamento das imagens, palavras e sons na comunicação faz parte do problema da impotência e da expropriação das forças criativas do humano que precisamos enfrentar com as mudanças climáticas. Ao reforçar a percepção de que imagens, palavras e sons são apenas descrições e representações de um mundo que está fora delas, as mídias estão implicadas na gravidade das alterações ambientais e das violentas lógicas que atravessam as relações dos humanos com a Terra, com as coisas-seres do mundo. Para interferir nesse contexto a partir de uma outra política da comunicação, a Sub-rede Divulgação Científica e Mudanças Climáticas, da Rede CLIMA, pesquisa experimentos interativos que visam explorar as potencialidades da comunicação com as mudanças climáticas enquanto uma questão vital.
