Resumo: Opting for an Integrated Management System (Enterprise Resources Planning – ERP) means mapping a strategy at organizations while evaluating the impacts on the implementation of business processes and establishing criteria for a better adoption of this system . This article presents a study of an applied methodological procedure based on Tonini (2003), to select an ERP system to a large hospital. The main contribution of this paper is presenting the importance of methodologies to choose software that have sets of criteria in order to rank the alternatives of purchasing for the institution that demands it from suppliers or its own Information Technology (IT) sector.

Este artigo apresenta um estudo de aplicação de um procedimento metodológico baseado na proposta de Tonini apud Saccol & Souza (2003), para selecionar um sistema ERP proprietário para um Hospital de grande porte.
