Sweet’s syndrome (SS) is characterized by papular-nodular, painful, erythematous skin lesions. They are located mainly in the upper, face and neck ends. May be associated with fever, neutrophilic leukocytosis, arthralgia, myalgia and headache.Objectives: To report a case of SS and thus alert the medical community about its importance. Case Report: G.M.F., male, aged 42, complaining of fever, myalgia, headache and arthralgia. Physical examination revealed erythematous plaques on the trunk, upper and lower limbs. Laboratory findings suggestive of SS were found: peripheral neutrophil leukocytosis (WBC: 13.110/uL and neutófilos: 11.930/uL), elevated erythrocyte sedimentation rate (100 mm) and C-reactive protein (6.29 mg/ dL). Histopathological examination showed no skin changes with perivascular lymphocytic inflammatory infiltrate with numerous neutrophils in the dermis. Conclusions: The patient had two major criteria and at least five minors. In addition, several differential diagnoses and pathologies usually associated with SS were investigated, but nothing was confirmed.
