Introduction: Cerebral arteriovenous malformations (AVM) are vascular lesions of the cerebral vascular system during the period of embryogenesis. Case report: This is a 19-year-old male patient diagnosed and treated for the first AVM in the splenium of the corpus callosum. After 1 year and a half, the same patient was diagnosed with a second AVM in the knee of the corpus callosum, receiving the second appropriate treatment. Comments: Although cerebral angiography is considered the gold standard for evaluating AVM angioarchitecture, it is essential to monitor its evolution after surgical, radiosurgical or embolization treat- ment for a decisive and expansive diagnosis, especially in cases of micromalformations.
