MANAGEMENT PROFILE OF THE AGROECOLOGICAL PRODUCTION UNITS SITUATED IN THE ORANGE COUNTRY OF SOUTH - PR

Resumo: Family farming is the main source of staple food production in our country. In this sense, Agroecology arose with the objective of trying to supply a lack left by the State regarding the economic, social and environmental aspects, affected by the conventional production model. The major challenge of small agricultural production units is management, especially in agroecological production units. The objective of this research is to analyze the management profile of the production units associated with Rede Ecovida, located in the municipality of Laranjeiras do Sul. Agroecological Certification is an informal organization without legal structure, organized in groups. To extract the data, an applied descriptive research was carried out, with data collection, performed as a survey. The population investigated were all eighteen agroecological production units, associated with the Ecovida Certification Network, located in the municipality of Laranjeiras do Sul. The approach was a predominantly qualitative research. Through interviews, it was possible to identify the socioeconomic profile; production profile; and the management profile of the eighteen units associated with the Ecovida Agroecology Network in Laranjeiras do Sul, Paraná. The results showed that the management profile of the surveyed units are relatively young, low-educated producers with per capita income below the national average. The surveyed producers do not have any physical record of the activities and therefore perform the management by their empirical knowledge.

En este sentido, la Agroecologí­a surgió con el objetivo de tratar de llenar un vací­o dejado por el Estado con respecto a los aspectos económicos, sociales y ambientales, afectados por el modelo de producción convencional. El gran desafí­o para las pequeñas unidades de producción agrí­cola es la gestión, principalmente en unidades de producción agroecológica, cuyo objetivo es analizar el perfil de gestión de las unidades de producción asociadas a la Red Ecovida, ubicada en el municipio de Laranjeiras do Sul. La Certificación Agroecológica es una organización informal sin estructura legal, organizada en grupos. Para extraer los datos, se realizó una investigación aplicada de carácter descriptivo, con recolección de datos, realizada en forma de encuesta. La población investigada era las dieciocho unidades de producción agroecológica, asociadas con la red de certificación Ecovida, ubicada en el municipio de Laranjeiras do Sul. Como forma de enfoque, esta fue una investigación predominantemente cualitativa. A través de entrevistas, fue posible identificar el perfil socioeconómico; perfil de producción; y el perfil de gestión de las dieciocho unidades asociadas con la Red de Agroecologí­a Ecovida en el municipio de Laranjeiras do Sul, Paraná. Los resultados mostraron que el perfil de gestión de las unidades encuestadas es de productores con baja educación, relativamente jóvenes, con un ingreso per cápita inferior al promedio nacional. Los productores encuestados no tienen ningún registro fí­sico de las actividades y, por lo tanto, realizan la gestión por su conocimiento empí­rico.     A agricultura familiar é a principal fonte de produção de alimentos básicos em nosso paí­s. Neste sentido, a Agroecologia surgiu com objetivo de tentar suprir uma carência deixada pelo Estado no tocante aos aspectos econômicos, sociais e ambientais, afetados pelo modelo de produção convencional. O grande desafio das pequenas unidades de produção agrí­cola é a gestão, principalmente nas unidades de produção agroecológicas O objetivo desta pesquisa é analisar o perfil de gestão das unidades de produção associadas a Rede Ecovida, situadas no municí­pio de Laranjeiras do Sul. A Rede Ecovida de Certificação Agroecológica é uma organização informal e sem estrutura legal, organizada em grupos. Para extrair os dados foi realizada uma pesquisa aplicada de natureza descritiva, com coleta de dados, realizada em forma de levantamento ou survey. A população investigada foram todas as dezoito unidades de produção agroecológicas, associadas à Rede Ecovida de certificação, situadas no municí­pio de Laranjeiras do Sul. Como forma de abordagem tratou-se de uma pesquisa predominantemente qualitativa. Por meio de entrevistas, foi possí­vel identificar o perfil socioeconômico; perfil da produção; e o perfil de gestão das dezoito unidades associadas à Rede Ecovida de Agroecologia no municí­pio de Laranjeiras do Sul, Paraná. Os resultados evidenciaram que o perfil de gestão das unidades pesquisadas, são de produtores com baixa escolaridade, relativamente jovens, com renda per capita abaixo da média nacional. Os produtores pesquisados não possuem nenhum registro fí­sico das atividades e, portanto, realizam a gestão pelo seu conhecimento empí­rico.
