The National Fund for the Development of Education - FNDE, through the National School Feeding Program - PNAE, transfers federal financial resources, of a supplementary nature, to Municipal Governments, State Departments of Education and federal schools, to attend to students of public basic education, through the offer of meals. Thus, as the Authority responsible for coordinating the Program and establishing the general rules, this study will present a summary of the Resolutions edited by the FNDE, which regulate the PNAE, recording the main advances of these regulations, since the publication of Law No. 11.947/2009, presenting some of the most substantial technical motivations for these changes. Consequently, this history will make it possible to highlight the role of the Autarchy in this public policy and the Fund's ability to adapt the Program's rules to the challenges imposed by the social, educational and nutritional context.
