Resumo: Introduction: The Reference Center for Social Assistance (CRAS), established within the Basic Protection of the Unified Social Assistance System (SUAS), offers the Integral Family Program (PAIF), aiming at the insertion of social assistance services, such as: socio-educational and coexistence, as well as referral to other policies; Productive inclusion program and poverty alleviation project. One of the assistance offered by CRAS is the integration of the elderly population. The elderly population in Brazil has risen above the young population, where the elderly population will furiously predominate. From this scenario, it is necessary to think of actions that enable the promotion of health care and well-being of this population, in order to provide an active and dignified aging. Therefore, psychodrama as a psychotherapeutic method that aims to work the psyche in action, by intervening with the elderly group, allows us to weave the losses of the roles that were formerly fulfilled socially, and keep the few that remain, making it possible to rescue the meaning of life. Objective: To describe the applicability of psychodrama to an elderly group at the Reference Center for Social Assistance in a city in the interior of the state of Minas Gerais, in the Alto Paranaíba region, Brazil. Methodology: Thus, it was a qualitative narrative study based on the experience with a group of psychodrama with the elderly in CRAS. The group consists of 20 participants over the age of 60, with weekly meetings that took place between January and May 2019. The selection of participants was randomized through those enrolled in the gymnastics group, it is noteworthy that 100% took part in psychodramatic meetings. A total of 12 meetings were held. At the first meeting the contract was signed. In the following meetings we covered the following issues: feelings that we experienced in 2018 and those who longed to feel and live in 2019, dreams achieved and longed for, the playful / play that provided us with many dramatizations, family relationships and the difficulties of solving the problems arising from marital relationships. , cross-cutting themes with Carnival and Women's Day strengthening ties with other CRAS users. We deal with the visual and motor perceptions, which showed us the world that the old age faces, their movements of discovery seeking to establish well-being in the face of difficulties. We worked the weaving of the construction of the subjective and personal identity, a healthy movement that transformed the therapeutic setting in the face of frustration. At the closing meeting we addressed the theme: breaking down barriers and planting dreams, a name given to the garden that the group created in the institution, promoting social health and liberation from the ills that they carried until that day. Considerations: In the first meetings establishing the tele, where the subject interacts with the other without distractions, was something distressing for me. The demands brought were of great value to the participants, and what this 'girl' as they called me could do in the face of the aforementioned complaints. As the meetings were being woven into the role plays, and the relationships changing, I had the opportunity to be called by one of the seniors 'cacique'. These relationships provided the interaction card, that is, the junction of knowledge and perception that globalizes and transforms the individual into a new person, enabling a current view of the environment in which they are inserted. It is also noticed that during the interventions of the roles, an elderly woman expressed in the speech that she realized that at that moment, she was able to speak and experience bad things that happened, but that no longer hurt, thus promoting the ability to react to old situations. or new appropriately and creatively, based on Factor E, which allowed us to recognize each member's individual satisfaction in reestablishing their particular meaning for life.
