Resumo: The educational axis Interaction, Teaching, Health, and Community aims to prepare the medicalstudent to deal with different professional scenarios. This study aims to analyze, according tothe student's perspective, the relevance of the activities developed by this education axis for themedical training. Thus, seven focus groups were formed, with students from the 2nd to the 4thyear of Medical School. The first six groups focused on identifying the discipline's potentialand limitations and the last group on developing suggestions for the identified limitations. Theresearch revealed that there are limitations to be faced, such as the constant change of activemethodologies adopted for the axis. On the other hand, the possibility of applying techniquesand developing skills in different scenarios of health practice, which promote personal andprofessional growth, while strengthening the teaching-learning cycle, was highlighted.

O estudo em questão pretende analisar, de acordo com a perspectiva do discente, a relevância das atividades desenvolvidas por esse eixo educacional na formação de médica. Assim, foram realizados 7 grupos focais, com graduandos do 2º ao 4º ano de faculdade do curso de medicina. Os primeiros seis grupos se concentraram em identificar o potencial e as limitações da disciplina e o último grupo em desenvolver sugestões para as limitações identificadas. A pesquisa revelou que há limitações a serem enfrentadas como a constante mudança de metodologias ativas adotadas para o eixo.
