O trabalho com verbos no ensino de Língua Portuguesa tem se resumido a lições maçantes que não desafiam o aluno, tampouco o levam a refletir sobre sua língua. Resume-se toda a amplitude de funcionamento dos lexemas verbais a atividades que, quase sempre,giram em torno dos mesmos pontos: conjugação, tempo e modo. Fundamentados na metodologia apresentada por Antoine Culioli em sua Teoria das Operações Enunciativas, doravante TOE, exemplificaremos, por meio do verbo “tomar”,como é possível trabalhar verbos em sala de aula numa perspectiva diferenciada, que leva o aluno a refletir sobre sua língua e a pensar o seu pensar.Nessa esfera, o professor é convidado a redimensionar sua prática,a extrapolar osmeros exercícios de classificação e conjugação que não contemplam a diversidade e complexidade da língua em uso.  Palavras-chave: Ensino de Língua Portuguesa. Teoria das Operações Enunciativas. ABSTRACT  Working with verbs in Portuguese Language teaching has been summarized to dull lessons that do not challenge the student, nor lead him to reflect on his language. It sums up the entire operating range of verbal lexemes to activities that almost always revolve around the same points: conjugation, time and mode. Based on the methodology presented by Antoine Culioli in his Theory of Enunciative Operations henceforth TEO, we will exemplify, through the verb "tomar" how is it possible to deal with verbs in the classroom in a different perspective, which leads the student to reflect on his language and rethink his thinking. In this sphere, the teacher is asked to resize his practice to go beyond mere classification exercise and combination that does not include the diversity and complexity of the language in use. Keywords:Portuguese Language Teaching.
