Resumo: | Mosaics excavated in Roman provinces depict time cyclically, using images of the seasons and of an eternal time that is limitless (for example, in the images of Aion). The representation of time in these ancient mosaics has another purpose: to give perpetuity to human acts and demonstrate the power of the élite. |
