Resumo: According to Aristotle, time is an aspect of movement. Both are “successive continua”. Given that motion is the act of that which is potential insofar as it is potential, we maintain that the moving thing is not at, but only through, places. Our aim is to show that time is a numerical aspect of movement and that, even though numbers are only actualized in a soul that counts, Aristotle has a fundamentally objective conception of time.
