O MAPPING CONFLICT THROUGH THE ISSUE PROCESS

This study assumes that conflicts, problems and social dissatisfaction (CPSD) are a natural and inescapable element of human relationships. Based on conflict theories, it seeks tools to prevent them, when there is a threat of pathological occurrences, or to treat them, or better, manage them, when the threat has already taken place through the injury. Among the tools, the mapping of conflicts proposed by Raúl Calvo Soler and the process by questions suggested by Sandoval Silva as complementary, preventive, managerial or resolving tools in the understanding of the conflict are addressed. Therefore, it is questioned to what extent the items can help in the diagnosis of conflicts. To answer this question, the method of hypothetical-deductive approach and the method of bibliographic procedure were adopted, observing the following argumentative path: 1) the need to adopt a theory of conflict (used as a way of summarizing the CPSD): conflict gradually understood as a physiological and pathological element in the conceptions of conflict theories; 2) conflict mapping; 3) the elements of specification of the process by requirements. It was concluded that the items contribute to the mapping of the conflict and, therefore, to its understanding and possible administration.
